Where does the energy go?
- Frying. Electric or gas fryers stay at temperature for hours.
- Griddle and grill. For burgers, croquettes and sandwiches.
- Freezers and refrigeration. Frozen products need a lot of freezer space, day and night.
- Extraction. Powerful extraction above the fryers is mandatory and runs for the whole opening time.
Gas or electric frying
If you fry on gas, gas is a big cost. If you fry electrically, you see that in high electricity usage and you often need a heavier connection. Switching to electric can change your usage a lot. We take that into account when looking for a new contract.
What to look for
- The rate per kWh and m³. With high usage, every cent per unit counts.
- The certainty of a fixed rate. Many snack bars choose a fixed rate so they do not have to keep adjusting their prices.
- The end date. Do not let your contract roll over automatically. Start comparing two to three months before it ends.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my energy bill so high?
A snack bar has many appliances that stay hot for long periods, plus freezers that always run. High usage is normal. That is exactly why a sharper rate pays off.
Can you help if I need a heavier connection?
You apply for a heavier connection with your grid operator, not your energy supplier. We do check that your new contract fits your new connection and usage.
Am I committed to anything after the call?
No. The call and the comparison are free and without obligation. You decide whether to switch.
